You don’t have a child in the system but you talked extensively with the teachers, principal and the PTA about not offering IB HL math. You don’t check the course offering before you enroll your child, btw every single high school publishes the course catalog on their website, and now complain that’s inequitable, doesn’t matter if the resources are there or enough students want to take that particular class. All this while you don’t have a child in the system, you just identified an equity issue that needs your attention. You can't keep focus on the issues presented, or you don't want to, trying to make it about the other person -- and make incorrect inferences about a poster's children, interactions, research, etc., positing them as if they were fact along the way, throwing shades instead of informing.  On the same anonymous forum.

One wonders what drives such fear of information exchange and open critique.

BTW, MCPS HS course catalogs, as far as they go for being accurate/complete, suggest the differences mentioned.  Only if you actually look at them, though.[/quote]

Ok so you didn’t bother to check the course catalogue, but now are incensed they don’t offer the courses you want, and they should offer them because equity. It doesn’t make sense to me but good luck to you and your child.[/quote]
