So sick of these posts. We have a large family and carpool for many activites and its funny the family that does the least amount of driving is the family with ONE child. For some reason their careers/lives are more improtant than ours. Also, every season my spouse or I volunteer to coach for one of our kids sports...while the parents with 1-2 kids sit on the side and watch. And no I don't have a nanny "raising" my kids as one poster said. Those do exist but also exist with 2 kids! I feel like people who trash 3+ kids are ones who would really like to have had 3+ but can barely handle 1-2 so they want to make those that can feel bad. I also add there is smugginess everywhere you go and if you aren't comfortable in your own skin then you are going to be a very sad person.

I will never, ever be jealous of people with 3+ kids. Can’t imagine feeling jealous of overbreeders.
It’s funny how parents of 1-2 kids trash 3+ers on here all the time but never the other way around. I have to assume you think it’s okay because you’re punching up.
+1. There are smug people who feel they made the best choice who have 1,2, and 3 children…and some of them had them young and some of them had them old. There wealthy smug people and poor smug people! People come in all shapes and sizes and levels of smugness. Try not to let your insecurities or projections play into interactions with others, and distance yourself from people who go out of their way to be rude or smug to you, OP. I was lucky enough to have three kids by 35 but I’m not smug about that. I’m a working mom trying my absolute best in my marriage, as a mom, and in my career. I try to be nice to everyone and I definitely don’t judge people on how many kids they have, if they have kids, or when they had kids. That’s way too banal.
