It’s not just Danny threatening him, it would be the multi-billion dollar cult threatening Ashton.

I don’t know the whole story here. But even if you innocently found a body, you’d panic too.
Was it because he said he didn’t find her dead? Even so, people tend to panic in any situation like that. 
(I’m not protecting Ashton. At all. But unless I’m missing something, maybe panicking was a gray area or normal. It doesn’t mean he was fully responsible.)[/quote]
