The Satanist is not a distributor. The Satanist is a designer that Target partnered with.  The Satanist who designed the “Satan respects pronouns” shirt is the same designer Target selected to create merchandise for this year’s pride campaign.   Your friend in that video is misrepresenting the relationship that Target has with the Satanist.  [/quote]

You are creating an issue out of nothing.  This is why people, especially the younger generations, are not voting for republicans and becoming less religious.

Target is not selling any Satanic-themed clothing in its stores, not to adults, and certainly not to children. The designer behind the merchandise is also not a "Satanist" and says the t-shirt was created to be campy and satirical-something the right-wing has shown they cannot understand.

Most people had no issues with gay people and fully supported their rights until the TQ latched onto the LGB and there was a big shift in the direction of the movement. Now nearly 20% of Gen Z identity as LGBQT which is unheard of in earlier generations. Transgender people used to be extremely rare but it has sky rocketed over the past 5 years especially among teenage girls. You have to be an idiot to believe there is no social contagion going on. Males are now competing in women's sports and winning women's awards, ridiculous sayings like uterus havers, pronouns in bios. Companies are creating LGBQT merchandise geared specifically for kids including babies and parents are sick of their kids constantly being exposed to this stuff. There are plenty of gay people who are fed up with what has happened to their community as well with some suggesting the LGB separate from the TQ. When the pendulum swings too far in one direction it will inevitably swing back the other way.[/quote]

DP. But the pp clearly doesn't have an issue with gay people, they have an issue with TQ. And that makes sense because the expansion of TQ does substantively change rights for various groups, notably female athletes and prisoners.  So it's perfectly logical that many people who are in favor of gay rights would balk at the existence of more and more trans people. Right now, trans athletes and prisoners are relatively rare. But soon they will be 1 in 5, and women will have different rights and opportunities than they used to enjoy. [/quote]

NP. Agreed. Gay rights are accretive to society; we all are better for gay rights and nobody is hurt by gay rights. Trans rights in contrast strip women of their own hard-fought rights. Gay rights and trans rights are not the same, and people see that. [/quote]
