Despite the narrative FOX News and online trolls would love for you to believe, the "exodus" is not former Democrats "getting fed up with progressive policies," it's largely low and middle income Republicans getting pushed out by rising cost of living and moving to a lower cost of living area. Yes, those areas also better align with their preexisting political beliefs, but usually so did their previous area as well.

The CA to TX pipeline is not latte sipping SF residents moving to jesusland, it's people from the Inland Empire, Bay Area outskirts, etc. moving to the suburbs of Houston and Dallas.  [/quote]
