My non W kid is in the Honors program at UMD. For anyone who wants to mock my kid for attending UMD, you are an idiot. 4 years after HS graduation, my kid will have a degree for about 120k versus the 320k for the Ivy Degree. We can use the difference to put a down payment on a house (when it makes sense).  [/quote]

My kid too.  The room and board is all that I am paying for (50-60K?). The rest is free thanks to merit scholarships. Double majors in Math and cs. [/quote]
