I don't think it's extortion. For one, he extracted a lot value from her and from being seen as stable and sober with her. And she simply wants out of the NDA. It's one thing to have an NDA for a brief romantic fling, it's another to not be able to talk about most of your 30s. And how do you know what he promised her to keep her under his thumb?
