Honestly, I experienced this trash-talking personally, on a much smaller scale (obviously, as DH isn't a billionaire.) DH was the "popular kid" all his life, and a star athlete in college. Years after college, dealing with burnout and previously unresolved mental health issues, he changed as a person. He started pursuing me - a nerdy, quiet woman with a satisfying-but-not-lucrative career - and his social circle exploded in gossipy outrage. I had to deal with bullshit like, "What does he see in [i]her[/i]?" And "But his ex-girlfriend Larla was soooo much hotter!" Often said within range of my hearing.

The whole experience was an epic lesson in self-respect, but wow, I could've done with less of the hate and judgment in the first place. The PPs in this thread could definitely decide to get a life and back off. They don't even know this woman. Bezos isn't their dad. Grow. Up.[/quote]
yo, this happened to me too. It's a tale as old as the history of woman-on-woman hate (and man-on-woman hate too, I guess). Look at the 1999 movie with Freddie Prinze Jr. (She's All That). Exact same thing that's happening in this thread.[/quote]
