Dunno what to tell you. My dad was bought a $40,000 house in 1988 when he was 25 years old. The mortgage was mere hundreds of dollars. He was able to do that consistently through the 90s. Obviously your circumstances were different. But my dad isn’t the outlier of his cohort. [/quote]
