I’m confused, which word did you use?  One is certainly racist (and intentional), the other seems to be (I trust your facts, as I never knew) but was accidental. Both are bad (if your assumptions are true), but the intentional use of a racist word is even worse.  Words are just letter, but meanings and intent can be very harmful.[/quote]

The comment was directed towards the poster who identified herself as Middle Age White Lady, since she assumed the original poster was white since they used a suspected racial term in a non-racial context (clearly unintentional, out of context).  The string of comments assume MAWL was the person who also used the racial name calling in response to “call out” the original offender.  Both MAWL and the original poster were intentional in their assumptions of race and were accusatory.  My assumption is that MAWL and original poster are the same, but it really doesn’t matter here.[/quote]
