This group in Arizona want to ban “March” by John Lewis, supposedly because it has racial slurs and violence. That’s a bullshit excuse to ban teaching about what Southern police and mobs did to to civil rights activists.

This group in Tennessee want to ban Ruby Bridges and other books that tell about the people who yelled and cursed and spit and threw rocks at black kids going to school.

Plus Texas has a list of 850 books som Republicans want removed and banned from school libraries, almost all either about black issues or LGBTQ issues. School libraries are removing the books even though it’s not required just to avoid having crazy parents coming after them.
