What? You’re saying the policy is meant to severely discourage parents from sending sick kids to school, and then encourage them to test their students when they do get sick? I think you’re expecting too much from the public. Lots of parents don’t know anything about policies. We have kids showing up on foot at the front door of the school every time there’s a holiday or teacher service day because their parents don’t know there’s no school. Kids don’t get picked up at the end of the day because mom’s boyfriend doesn’t know what time school ends. This new policy is not going to be a deterrent. [/quote]
