What is hysterical here?  Somebody pinches your butt and you are angry or scared. Is that hysterical?  Are you supposed to pretend it didn’t happen? Kids say mean things, they push, they hit, they steal, they pinch.  Are you signing up to police all bad schoolchild behavior for your whiney tattletale kid, who in turn will never learn from her parents how to be confident and stand up for herself?

I teach my child to be tough.  If somebody touches her in a way she doesn't like, believe me, she lets them know it.  Sometimes, she shrugs things off and could care less.  She is not even 11. [/quote]
