This suit isn't even a tiny bit scandalous. But the moms at DC area pools wear suits that even my grandma would think are too frumpy.
+1 Honest to god, one mom had swim capris? and a long sleeve rash guard at ours. It reminded me of those modesty suits the Duggars wear.
You know women who wear those often have a high risk of skin cancer. That is why they are wearing them. Wear what you want OP. You liking the suit is what matters. Just make sure to properly apply sunscreen. You may be showing skin that has not seen the sun in awhile.
Rashguards and swim capri/legging wearing mom here. Skin cancer runs deadly through my family. I am not playing when it comes to having a future with my kids.
I wonder if you are talking about me...I wear a long sleeve rash guard and swim capris because; 1) I am very pale skinned and get sunburned easily. I have also got sun poisoning in the past, which believe me is not fun; 2) skin cancer runs in my family and i just had surgery for it, as did my mom just weeks before; 3) I'm on a medication that makes me sensative to sunlight and burn even easier. My kids also wear looms sleeve rashguards. My brother is a pediatric dermatologist, I follow his advice to prevent sun poisoning and skin cancer.
Oh, just wanted to add, I don't give butt cheek mom a side eye, people should wear what they are comfortable in. However, if a guy showed up at our pool in one of those Borat thong things, I would definitely be giving a side eye, LOL!
