Yes this case was still pretty popular even then. Now with the series younger people are learning about it.

I met a lady who had written to Betty. She was a paralegal in the firm Dan use to work at, her husband left her after many years as well. Then she got MS, but she did forward a few
letters to me. Only one item about Dan. Betty said it was like "they" invited Apple in their garage. I believe she meant it was all great until it became too big, or HE became
too big. The rest was about her life in prison which weirdly sounded good. I'm sure that pisses off Dan's relatives. The more I think about it I don't think it would be so great if she got
out. Especially at the age she is with no money. Nor am I sure how much support she would get from her kids.[/quote]
