I only support this kind of admissions when there is a direct admit Avenue. If you aren’t guaranteeing engineering then don’t admit based on that. You can also offer the higher stats kids the option of switching their majors. Not every -8 year old has it all figured out. I totally get the frustrations with VT[/quote]
