It’s pretty obvious that the changes are caused by transient changes in platelets, which are known to change menstrual cycles. Not really hormonal, and not permanent. A lot of the anecdotes are probably just chance as well.
Huh. Platelets. Where have I heard that before? Oh right: “Two weeks later, she began to have heavy vaginal bleeding. After two days she saw her obstetrician, who ordered blood work and scheduled other tests. A few hours later, he called and urged her to go straight to the emergency room. He was stunned and hoped it was a lab error, but her blood count showed zero platelets.” https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/08/health/immune-thrombocytopenia-covid-vaccine-blood.html But, seriously, nothing to investigate here. It’s not permanent, it’s chance, it’s anecdotal...
Exactly. Doctors seem as dumbfounded as everyone else. Is there anyone who knows what’s going on? I’m sure they are investigating it. Report to VAERS if you have prolonged or heavy bleeding, and go see your doctor.
I have done both, thanks. Unfortunately it seems doctors don’t necessarily know how to treat the odd rare side effect, as they are unfolding in real time.
