Oh hell no. My kids are going to school in person full time (they will wear masks if necessary). Even if we have to go stay with grandparents in another state, I absolutely refuse to do distance learning beyond the end of this year.
Same. DCs tax base will take a beating. There will be teacher layoffs. No one is sticking around for fall hybrid.
LOL seriously? You think you're that important?
No one in my social circle will be sticking around. Can’t imagine I’m alone. People are making plans to live in second homes, relatives, private. Most people do have choices if forced....
I'm saying there are tons of wealthy people living here who don't have kids and they continue to move here. You and your friends kids also likely go to overenrolled schools, not seeing a downside for DCPS as a whole here. They'll have the money and layoffs won't happen because every year DCPS has many unfilled positions.
Keep telling yourself that. Layoffs a’coming teachy-poo. Bye.
Uh? Did you drink a little too much tonight or do you have some kind of disorder? And I’m not worried about my job, I’m not a teacher. However, I do know a lot about Dcps and the state of jobs.
