After McLean's older batch of boys teams are gone they are gonna be in a world of hurt.  McLean needs to get their act together.  Stop allowing kids to play up in age especially if their age group needs better players.  And if you're gonna recruit kids to your team they should better your team.  One coach brought a kid on a McLean ECNL team who is playing up a year but the kid wasn't even on the ECNL team at his previous club.  What kind of recruiting tactics is that?  Bringing a younger player on a McLean ECNL team that wasn't even ECNL caliber?  Was told the kid is the son of a friend of the coach.  Looks like there's something fishy going on there.  Regardless, terrible recruiting tactics.  Sometimes it just comes down to the players just aren't athletic enough, quick enough, can't make decisions fast enough and simply just don't have the players needed to compete at the higher end of ECNL.
