NP here. Well, it's a valid question. Why is this a responsibility of the school district? I think we can all agree that we should help those that need help. But why is it the schools' responsibilty versus the town the state or the federal government?[/quote]

It is provided by the federal government through the schools, because that’s the location where children normally eat during the day. It just starts to seem strange when schools are closed, and the focus of school districts is how to distribute meals.[/quote]
