PP is delusional. The GOP has tied their longest streak of losing the popular vote since at least 1900 — 16 years. Before 2004 was another 16 years. They’re almost certain to lose it again this year, so that’ll make it officially a record. [/quote]

Many people are voting for Biden not because he's a Democrat, but because he's not Trump. Support for Biden doesn't automatically equate with support for the Democratic Party.

You wait. Biden will win, and it's possible that both the Senate and House will go blue next year. Then, the real battle for the future of the Democratic Party begins: socialists/progressives vs. moderates. The socialists and progressives will likely yank the party further left, which will cause moderates to leave in droves -- following in the footsteps of blue-collar folks who felt the party abandoned them back in 2016. The "splinter" statement above makes some sense.[/quote]
