There are several definitions of the word hero. One is “ a person who, in the opinion of others, has special achievements, abilities, or personal qualities and is regarded as a role model or ideal: My older sister is my hero. Entrepreneurs are our modern heroes” https://www.dictionary.com/browse/hero For those trying to dictate to others that Kobe is not a hero. STFU. As you have crowed, definitions matter. And he CAN be a hero to others. That doesn’t mean he has to be YOUR hero.
People are expressing a dissenting view. As long as they are respectful about it, no they don't have to STFU.
Nope. People are stating as fact he doesn’t meet the definition of a hero. Go back and read the last two pages. It’s not a “dissenting view” to claim he doesn’t meet the definition of a hero. And when posters even said - people can have different opinions - the shrews yet again claimed that definitions matter and he wasn’t a hero. So yes, STFU that he wasn’t a hero. He is to SOME, he doesn’t have to be to YOU.
+1 We don’t all share the same heroes. No one has to agree that he is their hero, but stop claiming he can’t be a hero to others.
