I'm an atheist and I have friends of all faiths and never once has religion come up in a conversation other than randomly (e.g., friend doesn't eat meat because hindu, or friend can't decide which church to get married in). I never hear it discussed until I read your stupid thread here.[/quote]

DP and I’m not OP. You guys sound just fine, and I have atheist friends who are like you. But you have to admit there are atheists on DCUM who troll 24/7 trashing religion. Why go to all that trouble? Because they want to change minds. These atheists certainly exist on DCUM and elsewhere, like the BIL upthread.
