Palpatine fking died at the end!! WTH are you talking about saying he won?! Rey adopted the last name "Skywalker" because, as Luke said, "some things are deeper than blood."

That's why the movie is called Rise of Skywalker! At the end of the movie she calls herself "Rey Skywalker" whereas before that she would just call herself "Rey."

So you clearly missed the part where its revealed that Rey is Palpatine’s granddaughter. Hence, Rey Palpatine. Hence, Palpatine’s bloodline is the last one standing and the Skywalkers are gone.

Palpatine literally tells Rey to kill him and he’ll live on in her...and she kills him.

I’m not making any of this up. It literally was in the movie. How could you miss that?[/quote]
