There are no people on bikes on Seminary Road. She would be more likely to hit a car from all the backed up traffic caused by the bike lanes. White posts like those installed to narrow corners of streets would be more effective along the bike lanes because people can actually see them. Since you seem to be a member of the bike lobby, please ask Justin to have DES install them. You people seem to be the only ones to whom he listens.
You need one of these: https://cottonbureau.com/products/the-all-powerful-bicycle-lobby#/1933563/tee-men-standard-tee-vintage-black-tri-blend-s
I do. I have a lot of cleaning to do before Christmas, and it would be perfect for the toilets.
The happiest commuters are people who commute by bicycle. Give it a try!
I am handicapped and can't bike. I need to drive. But thanks for explaining stuff to me, so helpful for able bodied people to set me straight.
Many people with disabilities who can drive can also bike. Not all, of course! In any case, if you need to drive, then you should be in favor of other people biking. More people biking = fewer people driving = less traffic for you.
Are you always so condescending to people with disabilities?
I apologize. What, specifically, is condescending? It is a fact that many people with disabilities who can drive can also bike. (It is also a fact that some people with disabilities who can't drive can bike.) It is also a fact that people who need to get places by car benefit when others get places not by car.
It’s that you think you can able body explain things to me as if I am stupid. That I should be in favor of this or that, that you think your logic is universal and that it’s so simple. Give me a break with your ridiculous prattle about biking. It is so ignorant and rude.
OK, I guess you're a person who likes sitting in a car in a traffic jam along with other people who are sitting in cars. In that case, why are you complaining that there is a traffic jam on Seminary Rd?
DP: Just stop with you BS about not having to sit in traffic because a few people are riding bikes. And stop with your BS of insulting people who are not able bodied and able to take bikes to work, schools, and any where else their heart desires. You have your bike lanes on Seminary Rd. so use them already. You made the City spend money that could be better used to improve the schools or the lives of the elderly and not able bodied, but you won. Ride your bike morning, noon, and night without a worry about the others who do not have your ability or freedom to take their time getting places.
