I think the difference is Kate married in and took the royal hierarchy and traditions to heart.  As a Brit, she respects the monarchy and takes her role as future Queen with comsideration.

Meghan walked in and acted like it was her show, all look at me thirsty.  As an American, she doesn't respect the monarchy.  It's not her culture.  Hollywood is.  For her, the monarchy is just a vehicle to fame and fortune.

I can't say as an American that I respect the monarchy to the degree you seem to expect. How do you respect someone who was born into wealthy and privilege? Respect is earned. The Queen has earned her people's respect and devotion from a lifetime of service but the rest of the institution (from pedophile Andy to cheating Charles to Phillip with 8 attempts at vehicular murder) can rot.

As an American, I agree with you 110% about the monarchy.  I'm just saying, that's part of the issue with Meghan.  She sees it like we do.

But married into it because she is a climber.  Huge Jackpot for a fame seeker like her!

She married him in a whirlwind  and quickly got preggo to seal the deal. She's a conniving charmer like most narcissists. She also has a lifelong and track record habit of disgarding people she is close to once they no longer can serve her. She will dispatch of Harry too once she is sick of the RF holding back her star.  It is what Narcs do.[/quote]

And what - a better idea is to stalk a royal since they were 16...literally to South America and wait 10 years for ring? That rings of desperation.

Meghan is a woman who knew what she wanted and Harry proposed in a year. There's nothing wrong with that and they are clearly happy.
