Although, I think I read that Lee in FCPS was named after Lee because of the territorial rivalry of Franconia and Springfield when it first opened.[/quote] It was originally named Lee HS after the Lee District but changed its name to Robert E. Lee HS in 1964, around the time of the civil rights legislation. That name needs to go, too.[/quote]
