Tattoos have gone through their trendy phase and come out the other side as just something some people choose to do.  That certain people can't get past the idea that tattoos are no longer a particularly remarkable decision says a lot more about them than the character of people who choose to get a tattoo.[/quote]

I’d say it goes in the other direction judging by this thread? The people with ink are claiming it buys street cred, is a subtle form of rebellion, and so on. While the people saying negative things are shrugging at the supposed edginess and instead pointing to a lack of judgement and long-term planning (which exist whatever your motive).[/quote]
