You sound like a terrible person OP.  You could have controlled the situation much better by just being a decent adult and telling the friend your rules.  Instead you came here and spewed anger and disgust at a 19 year old who you never took the time to tell that your weren't ok with his behavior.  When my kids' friends come on vacation with me, I don't consider them freeloaders because I assume that we'll pay for everything if my kid invites a friend.  I'd actually feel awkward taking money from someone who's still in their teens or hasn't graduated from college.  I also would not take money from their family.  I'd also be adult enough to feel comfortable setting boundaries for someone who is on vacation with our family.  Maybe you don't want to micromanage your guest, but I'm pretty sure politely setting forth some basic rules would have had better results than saying nothing and then posting a bunch of hateful things about a 19 year old.  Societally (supported by brain development research) a 19 year old is not a grown ass man, but you are a grown ass woman who sounds hateful, mean spirited.[/quote]
