DCU literally does ZERO to develop youth soccer talent in the DMV. Not only did they cancel their U14 team (after giving offers!) but they offer ZERO training opportunities for kids in the DMV area; no youth programs like the NYRB RDS programs.

DCU used to offer such programs (all for a fee, so it's not like they were doing it for free) but they cancelled all of that years ago.

Hard to believe that in this area, one of the areas of the country with massive interest in soccer, the MLS club is so poorly managed with respect to youth talent development.[/quote]

All posted weeks ago and proven to be true.  You must be way in your feelings right now.  A kid at DCU and they are charging you five figures for sh#t programming and schooling. Why?  Because if DCU was halfway decent, I wouldn't have had to ship my kid across the country, he could have lived at home.  And by your logic, if an academy from Europe came calling, we should turn it down because they also send less than 1% to pro ranks.  Laughable.  That kid Cavan should just stay in Philadelphia right.  What a fool for going to Man City academy![/quote]
