People with frontotemporal dementia, often resort to confabulation to fill gaps in memory.[/quote] He paused a lot to soak in the applause from Congressional Republicans. They weren't 100% sure when they were required to give a standing ovation so they gave him one anytime he had a longish pause. [/quote]
