From the Marist survey released today: “Trump's overall approval rating remains low at 39%, with 56% disapproving, and a whopping 51% strongly disapproving. That's the highest Marist has seen in its polling since it started asking how strongly respondents approve or disapprove of presidents dating back to 2017. "The thing in the numbers that we've been experiencing is the shift among some of the folks who voted for him — his voting coalition — not necessarily the governing support he has, but his voting coalition," said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion.” His voters are deserting him.
It's terrifying that 40% of voters are completely brain rotted beyond repair. It's low enough to get rid of the worst president in history, but not low enough to save the Senate and state governments.
CNN has Trump's approval rating at 36 percent. That is a catastrophic number for a president. And that number will continue to decline as Trump doubles down on tariffs and more inflation. Not to mention his warmongering, which none of his MAGA supporters voted for. Plus Epstein. He's even deeply underwater with immigration - his signature issue. Throw in the daily clown show and his shrill tantrums and I suspect his approval ratings will be in the low 20s by November. Every midterm election is a referendum on the sitting president. This is shaping up to be a massive blue wave election. Democrats seem to be doing a good job with recruiting strong candidates and are even targeting districts that Trump won by 15 points. I do think Democrats have a very good chance of taking not just the House but the Senate too. The GOP is going to regret going all in with Trump - as everyone does who has ever associated with Trump.
