It’s possible ICE targeted Pretti because of the earlier confrontation. I was wondering if one of the agents was there the week before and recognized him but of course they have a database so anyone can participate in retribution.

I don’t discount the facial recognition database. I just don’t think it was used in this particular instance because Pretti went to protect the woman. It wasn’t that agents went up to him. There’s no way these bozos could orchestrate an op like that.[/quote]

It's not hard to believe -if one of the CBP guys scanned his face and alerted others, it could explain why they were insanely aggressive with him.  They dragged him from the sidewalk to the street. The other possibility is that one of the agents recognized him from a previous altercation. Hopefully we get some answers.

It’s VERY easy to believe that these guys are passing around the facial scans of the people they think are problems for whatever BS reason. They are law enforcement (sort of) and that’s what law enforcement does. It’s no different than a bodega putting a picture of the guy who wrote a bad check up behind the counter.[/quote]
