They tore down a sad looking, failing Safeway store and, for shame, attempted to replace two, obsolete car dealership buildings with contemporary, mixed-use facilities. I miss the beauteous view of Babe's Billiards and will fight tooth and nail to protect the vestiges of Marten's Volvo and VW. They should bring back the cars that used to be parked on the grass, surrounding the VW building. [/quote]
