DP: The measure of the health of the economy is not the rise and fall of the 1%'s net worth.

The measure of the economy is this: Can all people afford the bare minimum of life: food, shelter, clean water, and healthcare? How are adults with minimum wage jobs doing? How is our severely disabled population faring? Are small businesses thriving and employing people in their communities or are they a bad quarter away from bankruptcy?
