He was an incompetent disaster and everything was falling apart even before Covid. We were saved from the worst of his idiocy only because he was too stupid to know how to actually do any of it. Republicans could not govern even when they controlled the White House, Senate, and House, but fortunately Democrats won the House so Pelosi could come in and save their dumb asses by negotiating budget and appropriations deals and the Covid relief packages while Trump was tweeting stupid nonsensical shit about his own imaginary grievances.
