They literally looked at the stick and gave possession. if the ref deems the stick illegal, its illegal. If the ref said a legal stick was illegal, and evidently it was issue in another game, you might want to consider not using that stick, for whatever reason makes refs think it was illegal. FYI, last year at NGLL Nationals at same venue, Philly Blast was purposely cheating using illegal pocket against MDU so this is not a new thing. The PB player even had enough sense to huddle teammates around her to adjust the pocket before handing it to refs. [/quote]
