They spent the spring and into summer cold calling families who ever showed any interest in the club trying to fill holes on rosters and it shows heavily this year. We got called and texted numerous times by coaches and so did others we know. It's unfortunate because there are many families who love the location of the club but don't want to pay for bad coaching/training. They care more about lining pockets stacking as make teams as possible than finding quality coaches.[/quote]

Agree 100%. My child was offered a spot on a third team. We weren't thrilled but would have considered it because it was a better location for us, if they had a strong coach present at the tryouts. They wanted parent to sign up for the team and pay $3000 without a coach hired. In fact I heard from another family a coach was not hired until mid-summer and coach is exactly what you would expect from someone scrounged up after all the good coaches were hired.[/quote]
