We are another family.  My spouse has a congenital genetic disability that has cause lifelong issues.  When we got married, we had to delay starting a family for several years treating their issues.  We traveled to specialists out of town for 18 procedures over 10 years including more than one transplant surgery.  Due to the face that my spouse's issue was genetically dominant, we opted for donor gametes to ensure our children did not have the genetically dominant mutation.  Obviously this required IVF for us.

If the Trump and Vance campaign had their choice, the only way we could have had children was to risk our children having this genetic disorder that would have caused them to have lifelong health issues.  Or choose to remain childless.  We have two wonderful children that are healthy with no chronic conditions.  That woudl not have been possible with what Trump Vance want to impose on the country.

Yes, the thought of not having children and the anxieties that we faced going through all of what we did, did feel like it blotted out the sun.  Thank you to Governor Walz for bringing the challenges of those with fertiity and other issues to the surface.[/quote]
