It's depressing that so many people still support him. I suppose they're completely in their fascist racist bubble.
I honestly think he would win if he were running today - not for a third term, but if it were legal for him to run, I think he would still win even knowing what we *all* know by now.
what are you even talking about? He is less popular than he was in 2020. He would get crushed.
+1 Amazing how quickly people forget the 2020 and 2024 elections when sitting presidents as unpopular as Trump is today causes their party to LOSE the general election to very weak opponents. There is no path to victory for a party with a sitting POTUS approved by less than 40% of Americans. The numbers don't lie.
Sure there is- nationalize elections, suppress counts, suppress voters - they'll find a way. The great thing about trump is he is transparent in whats going to happen - senators bang their chests and say "oh we don't support that, it's unconstitutional" but please name a time Trumo train was actually stopped? And all the republicans that "disapprove" will still vote party line when the rubber meats the road. Trump can literally do whatever the f he wants without consequence.
A similarly unpopular Trump LOST to 77 year old Biden in 2020; not because he lost the 40% of voters who make up the GOP party line voters but because he lost the same true swing voters who Biden lost in 2024 and who Trump has already lost this go around. The current definition of an American POTUS who has lost the swing vote is a POTUS consistently approved of by only 35% to 40% of Americans. That's Trump.
