The SPR is intended to use during times of emergencies - weather emergencies, war, etc.  It was not designed to be used to lower the price of gas because your administration has an inept energy policy.

Biden has not indicated WHEN he plans to replace the oil he has tapped to cover for his horrible policies.  And, you can bet that it won't be $40/barrel when and if he does.

Can you cite where it specifically says a supply emergency doesn't qualify as an emergency?

Also, with regard to "inept energy policy" the Biden administration has been issuing more permits than the Trump administration was, and is on track to increase production higher than it was when Trump left office.  So you're quite off base with your hysterical talking points.[/quote]

Issuing permits is simply one step in the production of energy.......
