Any chance of STA admission? This is for 4th grade entry. 90%+ scores in all grades URM Very athletic plays soccer and basketball Speaks a foreign language (not Spanish) Has a sibling at another Big 3 (which we will also be applying to for admission) Non-Beauvoir Currently at public school in Montgomery County.
Your son has a good chance, but it will depend somewhat on the admissions year and who else is applying. Some years siblings, faculty, alumni, and trustee kids will leave only a few spots In recent memory, the max was about 15 non-Beauvoir students admitted in the C Form (4th). Most years, it's closer to 10. It also depends on whether you need financial aid. If you're Black, Latino, or Native American and can pay full tuition, your chances will improve.
