You are right, thanks. I had those switchbacks almost kind of matching. I will say, the fires are so sad because this area is just stunning. I want to see this whenever covid and the fires are done. There are so many stunning videos of the Sierras. Despite our problems, this is a beautiful country.[/quote]
Yes, the switch backs look very similar.  This area is just east of Yosemite Park so it makes for a wonderful vacation spot. Also just a little north is the Hetch Hetchy portion of Yosemite Park.  It gets very few visitors but is absolutely gorgeous.  Just don't stay at the  Yosemite Cedar Lodge (mentioned in the video description) as this was the location of the "Yosemite Murders" back in 1999.[/quote]
