What a joke.  Since when do immigrants have to abandon their values and beliefs?  Italians?  Germans?  Irish?  Everyone that lives here has had family that were immigrants at some point, unless they are native americans.  None of them abandoned their "old world" values, they brought them WITH them and that is why America is so diverse today.  I bet the native Americans wish we had abandoned our old world prejudices and values though, unfortunately we collectively chose to kill them instead.[/quote]
