Or else soldier A snapped, relieved his own feelings by beating up soldier B, but didn't actually improve wife B's situation any.  I mean how would beaiting up someone who beats his wife help the wife?  Giving the wife a ride to a woman's shelter might help her, beaiting up her abuser, less so.

But yes, soldier A is obviously a better person than soldier B.  Not arguing that at all.[/quote]
