How is it possible that this thread is still going?
Maybe because some of us like this show?
Sweetheart, if it upsets you so bad that people dislike your new obsession stop replying to them. This is a forum full of snark. Most threads about shows here are about how bad they are or how people hate watch it. The fact that you keep trying to control what people watch and that you think it's so strange and bizarre that people on DCUM might take the puss out of something is what people are now laughing at and reading this thread for. The woman who created this show is a bit of a hypocrite and a terrible actress, the ratings are bad, and it's got a lowbrow element of the three stooges that some people find offputting. You are just going to have to accept that some people are going to post negatively about it.
Does using "sweetheart" make you feel like you have some kind of checkmate? Because, if you havent noticed, a lot of people have called you out for having embarrassing posts. Time to look in the mirror, babe.
I used sweetheart, because I felt bad for the poster who keeps getting upset anytime someone hates on the show. I haven't seen anyone call out one of my few posts on this thread as embarrassing. I think you were referring to the poster I called "sweetheart", which I used as intended - not in a snarky or condescending way.
I dont think anyone's upset, I think they're amused at how embarrassingly obsessed with this show you are.
Um... are you talking about the poster who just loves the show and is mad anytime someone dislikes it? Because thats not me. I think you have us mixed up.
Either way, the tone of your posts, the passive aggressive use of "sweetheart"... i's embarrassing.
As I explained I used it as a kindness. No passive aggression. If you think thats embarrassing okay. I still think you had the wrong person to begin with and now just can't admit to it.
Oh please. If you reall used it with no snarl intended then you are socially quite obtuse, because it's a totally innaporopriate (and obviously going to be taken as passive aggressive) word to use in an argument.
I wasn't arguing. I was giving the poster some advice to not take negative posts on DCUM to heart and to stop responding to them because its just giving fuel to the fire. Sweetheart is not inappropriate (at least I think that is the word you were going for) nor is it passive aggressive. Also, thanks for the psych evaluation however I can assure you I am not "socially quite obtuse".
