Then why aren't Arlingtonians, who are famously liberal, supporting housing policies and school redistricting that would eliminate the concentration of poverty in  small number of schools? This is what I don't get. If decades of experience show us this is a problem, and our county is one of the best-educated and wealthiest in the country, why can't we solve this problem?
