Just try having the almost 4-year old walk to the park with the 2 year old in the stroller - the 2 year old will scream the whole way because he isn't walking. If you do let him (or the almost 4 year old) walk, by the time you've walked the full mile up and down hills, it will be time to go home and they'll be screaming for lunch. Pick up the older one from school at 3pm and ask her to walk home (1/2 mile) when you're in a hurry. She'll happily walk, but it'll take you about half an hour. You'll miss whatever you were hurrying to do. I feel fortunate to live in a neighborhood where I only get in the car to go to work or the grocery store. But it couldn't be done without the stroller.[/quote]
