Enough with the grocery store whining, when there are people in cities all over the US who have meaningful access only to convenience stores.  Get off your butt and walk or take the bus or drive to the Giant that is ONE MILE AWAY or walk ACROSS THE STREET to the Whole Foods.  [/quote]

Don't forget the actual Safeway that remains 1.5 miles up the road, along with a magruders, and a walkable Rodmans for that last-minute box of pasta or a lime.  And a walkable cvs for the last-minute paper towels or Advil.

Yep, I agree you can't do all your shopping at a cvs or Rodmans like you could at a Safeway. But you know what? If you really are doing "all your shopping" at Safeway for the week, [u]you are driving your car[/u]. Do not lie and claim you're not.  You are.

And if you're driving your car because you're buying cases of water, kitty litter and a watermelon ... Just drive for an additional 77-113 seconds to the Safeway on McKinley or the Giant on Western.  Or I guess one of the whole foods, though I'm not sure they sell kitty litter.

Point remains: stop the disingenuous whining.  Be brave and state what really galls you here. It can't be that the only source for milk in 20015/16 is disappearing, since we've just demonstrated that's fallacy. [/quote]
