Dumb analogy with the neighbor. Considering the vast number of two-faced people who would not dare express any negative beliefs to one's face, you would be hard pressed to find an individual who would outright admit to making a prejudice statement & sticking by it. If he was that kind of person you would have known from the beginning. If someone makes a negative statement about a race that I am & I confront him I don't expect an honest answer.  Most people are not confrontational to the point they want to risk a potentially violent conflict.

After reading the many complaints from whites crying foul about something a black person said that was taken in a negative context without allowing them to explain themselves I am calling bull on the sudden desire to hear context before reacting. [/quote]
